DALLAS – Sept. 25, 2018 – RevTech Ventures today announced its rebranding from RevTech Accelerator to RevTech Ventures, a venture capital fund with a focus of early-stage investments at the intersection of retail and technology. The new name will be highlighted at RevTech Ventures’ 10th “Tech Trends in Retail” event at Highland Park Theatre in Dallas on Wednesday, Sept. 26.
The rebranding reflects RevTech Ventures’ focus on year-round offerings with mentor-led content for early-stage companies, including mentor access workshops, as well as funding and co-working space.
“The name change underscores the significant growth and expansion that RevTech Ventures has seen,” said David Matthews, Managing Director of RevTech Ventures. “We’ve expanded from twelve weeks of annual programming to year-round, mentor-led programming and have built the capacity to invest well beyond pre-seed stage to early-growth stage as companies in our portfolio develop scale. We’re excited to share this announcement at our latest Tech Trends in Retail event.”
