As RevTech Ventures’s retail tech focused acceleration model matures, we’re now attracting companies with experienced teams, developed products, and early market validation. These companies are better able to leverage our amazing network of entrepreneurs and restaurant and retail industry veterans.

Our four 2016 investees have cumulatively attracted over $2 million of seed capital, including from our investor network, and already have their respective products in use by such global brands as AT&T, Samsung Mobile, John Varvatos, GameStop, and Habitat for Humanity.

  • Dor Technologies, San Francisco, “A foot traffic sensor that provides actionable insights right out of the box starting at $44 a month.”
  • FindMine, New York, “Your merchandise and styles, in thousands of combinations. One just perfect for each shopper.”
  • Workplace Arcade, Melbourne, “An end-to-end SaaS solution for measuring, increasing and retaining retail employee engagement.”
  • Xclaim Mobile, Dallas, “The world’s first enterprise-grade mobile offer platform that completely works.”

As only one of these companies is local to Dallas, and the rest travel in as needed, we are hosting fewer, but larger, networking events through the summer. The best near-term opportunities to meet these entrepreneurs are July 21st at 4:30pm at Tutta’s (Ross & Record in West End) and August 11th at 4:30pm at the DEC, just prior to our Digital Retail Showcase event.

Our semi-annual “Tech Trends in Restaurant & Retail” event will be at Gilley’s the afternoon of September 28th, where you’ll have the opportunity to hear live pitches from these four teams as well as our next batch of Accelerator Graduate Program participants. Stay tuned, because we will have a number of exciting events that week in conjunction with the Shop.org Convention.
